India to host ‘Highlight’

Iranian feature movie ‘Highlight’ is to vie at the Chennai International Film Festival in India.

The movie directed by Saman Salour will represent Iran at the international competition section of the event.

‘Highlight’ produced by Sasan Salour was a contender at the 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.

A brief synopsis for the romantic-drama reads, “A car accident brings people face to face with each other. Caring for the injured and waiting for them to regain consciousness is a long and painful wait...”

Pejman Bazeghi from ‘Passing through the Hardships’, Azadeh Zarei from the hit series ‘The Sound of Rain’, and ‘A Passenger to Rey’ star Jamshid Hashempour will be accompanied by Sam Gharibian, Mina Vahid, and Elaheh Hesari to make up the film’s main cast.

Chennai International Film Festival is slated for December 12-19, 2019.
